A national conference in Boise, Idaho on the global issues related to energy, with a particular
focus on three areas: impact, trends, and applications to the American Northwest; highlights
and discussion on innovation in the energy sector; and the marriage of venture capital,
technology transfer, and public investment in energy. The third day of this event is an
Entrepreneur’s Showcase, highlighting the stories and growth prospects of fourteen
emerging energy industry leaders. The Summit will feature a range of government, business,
finance, research, and education leaders. From this event, senior leadership in the public and
private sector of the Pacific Northwest can harness the power of thinking and initiatives to
crystallize a future vision and craft needed solutions for clean alternative energy.
